Mounting Receiver Antenna

Hi!

I'm new to RC hobby and this forum. Though I've known Flite Test on YouTube for a long time.

So I madey first plane out of scratch a few days ago and flew it. It went well.

My transmitter is FlySky FS-i6 and receiver is FS-iA6.

I was wondering if there's any right way to mount the receiver. Is there any specific orientation to gain maximum range and diversity? If so, what is that orientation?

Thanks.
Prithul.

Wake up! Time to fly!
What I have been doing is to stick one of the antennas (just the exposed core) heat shrunk to a zip tie out the top of the plane then stick the other out the side of the plane and hot glue it to wings that are permanent or use the zip tie method again, or just run the exposed core up the spine of the fuse and hot glue it in place. As long as they are 90 degrees apart it really is not too important where as foamboard lets radio signals pass fairly unimpeded.
