My Dad and I

I have been flying model airplanes forever, my son turned me on to this web site a couple of months ago. I just showed my 87 year old Dad who has been flying for more than ever, let’s just say the transmitters had tubes and push buttons... He is working on the Baby Blender. (I may need to get him a speed built kit though) I only get a chance to visit him once a year in Colorado we worked on a foamy this summer and flew it at the local park. We had a blast and created a memory that will last me forever.

Glad to hear it. My dad is just getting on a nano, and he is excited to get into the swing of things.

Enjoy flying with your son/dad as much as you can. When I was young my dad flew rc models. And he became my spotter in FPV flights since I started RC 3-4 years ago.
We often went to the flying field. Sadly he passed away 1.5 year ago. So, as I said: Enjoy as long and as much as you can.

Sorry to hear that mate, hope he passed peacefully, I know a lot of people get some therapy from flying, and I hope that it helped.
