My First Plane

So I just recently got into the hobby (since Christmas) and completed my Old Fogey scratchbuild 3 days ago. I was not overly confident that she would fly because I accidently ordered pull/pull rod wire and was forced to use guitar strings! Haha. Anyways, I strapped my GoPro to the bottom and flew around for a few minutes.

Cool, I have used steel wire from an old umbrella for pushrods. Very heavy, but very stiff as well.

I have also used paper clips for a shorter distance.

Yes I would agree, its really not a good GoPro setup but I really wanted to see if it was possible.

Of course I was kidding. Any more power and the plane and that go pro would be taking deep space photographs!

So, maybe I wasn't kidding. You can't point it straight up for 2 minutes, why bother?
