Apparently these are a limited season thing? I was in Scotland last fall and not a one was on display. Wife thought this obsession with LIDL.was unnecessary

They are seasonal, usually come out in the UK around Springtime and in the shops for week or two till sold out. Thsi year was different in timing. They are dead cheap, a tenner or so and great for converting to RC and for a bit of creativity, hence they have quite a following, but I would hardly call it an obsession!
