Thanks Burg! Mychale (pronounced Michelle) and I started Shadow Studios together about 7 years ago. (Josh Scott's wedding was actually our first real wedding job.) Since then Mychale has grown to love filming video, and editing. I taught her how edit, and she now cuts and edits just about all of our multi-camera work for the business. We met Jamie Jansen at a wedding some years ago. He was the photographer....we hit it off with him almost immediately. We have been friends ever since. His eye for photography is amazing.

I will def post more videos as we get them uploaded. :)

Cheers,

Eric

Unfortunately no :( We flew some last minute footage at the end of the day, so we already had the camera rigs in the house. Wish we would have though.....was a "good" crash....if there is such a thing. LOL

Thanks man! and yes, all the flying footage was done with a GoPro Hero 1 filming at 720p 60fps. No post-production stabilization was used. I am super impressed with how well the GoPro does. I did get the GoPro Hero 2 recently, and it is even more impressive. Cant wait for some nice weather this spring so I can get out and do some more filming with it. Although I have been adventuring out in this wintery weather as well. :)

I have been playing with the idea of a cheep had can to start with but I think I will just save my pennies and get a go pro. I am sure I can convince my better half it will be an investment lol

I'm with ananas on that one. I do have some balsa here which is unusually dense and could possibly do the trick, but regular balsa alone is no good.

Hey Mark,

I am running 20amp esc's from a local supplier here in NE Ohio. www.lazertoyz.com

I have a handful of turnigy plush speed controls, (my miniature aircraft quad came with them) and the plushs work great.......but most times my projects are spontaneous, and of immediate necessity (filming for my business or something like that) so being able to order them from lazertoyz in my home state and get them within 1-2 days is something that I value highly. ;)

so can any esc's be used for the KK boards remember reading somewhere that they needed modifying due to pwm signals or something like that. Might have been david's site i was reading. I also would like to find a local alternative just in case.

Crazy flyer/crasher :D
Yes some ESC´s shut off for some kind of security measure if they get a high pwm update signal. However, from what I know you can even modify those which don´t want those high update rates so that they work too, but I recommend you just get some Turnigy Plush´s, they will do the job more then fine

i must admit all my esc's are turnigy plush from my trex 450 to my up coming tri build. I have one i think ripmax things and works ok but will only use this on my foam board planes i build with my boy. i am sure this will get a plush at some point. What about the other esc's from turnigy, are these any good?
