72” wingspan, twin 2218B motors turning 10” or 11” props on a 2200/1550mah parallel 3s battery pack. Water loading and dumping system planned for phase 2. Paint job in the works as we speak 🤪

I maidened the CL-415 today and it flew beautifully. Here is a picture of the painted version hanging on the

. I’ll start another thread on the adventures of developing a water loading and dumping system as I test that part out. Hopefully it will look like the real version one day!!!

Have you thought about making plans??
Well, I made this one from scratch using some old balsa plans I found as a reference along with a lot of add hock modifications. I have a goal this winter to learn to make plans using the template I’ve seen somewhere here on the forum. I’m fairly competent at sketchup so I think I can probably re-create some of the trickier curved pieces and then flatten them for the plans. So I guess the answer is yes, I hope to be able to make plans so others can give it a shot!
