Nano QX modding/upgrading

I`ve found out that some people have upgraded their Nano QXes with more powerfull motors, new frames, LEDs and even FPV gear. Turning it from a Toy to something that can grow with me as a pilot is pretty sweet i think.

Nearly bought that 180€ quadcopter set from hobbyking, but there are forums filled with people reporting errors, beginners like me who have immediatly crashed it and experienced people who rage about why said beginners would get this thing in the first place.

So i got a nano and i want to upgrade it once i feel comfortable taking the next step.

Personally, I wouldn't spend lots of money making a 'super' nano.
The NanoQXs are what they are. A great learning tool and loads of fun.
If you feel you have 'graduated' from the QX and want something more challenging, try an HMB -

When equipped with DAL props, they are nearly indestructible and perfect for an intermediate/beginner.

Carbon Fiber and the lightest/fastest gear will always have a strong appeal, but pay your crash "dues" first on something that is more forgiving.

I thought to my self I could make a super nano too but when u look at the cost of a total nano upgrade it's about half that of a 250 build and I my self would rather a 250ish thing I can replace part by part (esc dies? Replace it motor bed a shift? Replace it) instead of one board that dose EVREYTHING (my nano has has 3 controll boards in it since I first got it and 36 bux adds up fast) ... Lastly remember brushed motors ware out!!! brushless not so much but with that in mind the upgraded motors that fit the regular nano frame are with the extra money next time u need a set for your nano

Just keep it running and grab a new quad. Gotta have more than one otherwise you are SOL if it breaks.
