I recently took a trip down to Wichita, and got to visit the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson. As you can probably guess, the Blackbird is my favorite plane of all time, so I was ecstatic to be able to touch it, (I touched all over the nose, and the left intake spike tip) They also had a T-38, the only other REAL plane in the museum. (i think)

Airforce knickname of T28. Every test pilot I ever met had to learn aerobatics on it. Also known to be lowest repair time of any trainer in inventory. May be people here who disagree.

It’s a T-THIRTY EIGHT. A T-28 would’ve been awesome 😂 (yup, an amazing trainer, and very good at aerobatics too, but the T-38 was for speed and other stuff)
