Can anyone help me out with connecting a Tiny FrSky rx (http://www.banggood.com/Tiny-Frsky-...-Micro-Quadcopter-p-1079963.html?rmmds=search) to a Seriously Pro F3 flight controller (http://seriouslypro.com/files/SPRacingF3-Manual-latest.pdf)?

I will be binding this rx to a Turnigy 9x withFrSky DJT module. Be warned, you are dealing with an idiot. Looks like it is as simple as plugging the servo lead into PPM on the rx and into IO-1 or IO-2 on the fc. (Don't think I can do SBUS, but I don't know why not).

heeeeellllppp meeeeeee

Thanks!

The Rx and FC both support SBUS, I'd recommend using it. Connect the SBUS output of the Rx to IO2 pin 3, you can get your 5V + and - from many places on the board or your PDB. In the Betaflight ports tab, enable Serial Rx on UART3. In the configuration tab set Receiver mode to Serial, and the Serial provider to SBUS. You should be off to the races :)

I didn't even see that UART2 header, I thought there was just the JST-SH socket. I picked 3 because it's broken out on the IO cables. Definitely cleaner to use UART2 with the +5v and ground right there.

Edit: I see now that UART3 can only handle 3.3V signals as well, learn something new every day... Don't use UART3! Sorry for the bad info.

Thanks, guys! I have it working now. Crafty Dan walked me through it. Connected to SBus on the rx and IO2 on the fc. I had to enable UART3 on Beta Flight in order for the fc to recognize signals from the rx.
