Help! Need new cam.

Hello Everyone, I've been using a GoPro Sessions to make flight videos, it has worked OK on the larger planes, but a mission to get the correct CG and re-trim every time. I'm looking for something with its own storage (Mini SD card or similar), image stabilizer, light weight that can use the plane's battery to reduce weight and be permanently installed.

Any Ideas?

I use the SQ11 micro cam, cheap, shoots good 720/30 and works well. Watch out for the super cheap clones, they have awful internal batteries. SQ12 is good too. The controls take a bit of getting used to. There’s no screen on them. You won’t get image stabilisation in a small camera. GoPro is about the only one that has that down as a software thing, it’s not really possible in small, light cameras.

How about a runcam split ? Very lightweight (14gms), Full HD recording to SD card and power it via BEC.
