Aloha from Hawaii!

I just purchased the flite test bundle and mini explorer and super stoked to get my kids and myself started. I’ve been watching elite test with Josh for over 11 years now, yeah I flew the BLADE 350QX FPV quad back then before FCC had rules.

My kids are finally old enough and interested in building models and electronics. My 10 year old loves to build. I’m sure he’ll make a great engineer someday. The best part is he’s not into phones and games. So I’ve got a chance to really let him become a builder and a pilot.

My local RC club is friendly and they fly helicopters and combat RC planes. I want to train and get into combat. Something to aim for.

I used to build quadcopters from scratch back before DJI existed.

I did fly spectrum and FPV planes and quads before 20 years ago, but now I’m gonna try radiomaster from now on for the cost, but I understand there is a learning curve.

I have invested in these transmitters so I can teach my boys how to fly as slave. Problem is I know nothing about the settings and it’s overwhelming me.

Aloha.
Welcome. Spent 10 years of my childhood in Ewa Beach. So many great memories. Radiomaster does have a learning curve, but it's not too bad. A ton of YouTube tutorials and we'll always help if we can.
