New FliteTest F-16 Build

For the new FliteTest F-16 build, they say you should use a 6S 4000mah battery. The suggested 70mm ducted fan has an 80amp ESC (XT60).

What C battery should I look at getting for this build? Any specific batteries anyone would suggest?

It looks like you’ll need at minimum a 35 C battery. I always like to give a considerable cushion though since often the posted specs are on the optimistic side and the less stress you pack goes through the less like my it is to puff and thus will last longer. Considering that 60c packs are a very common rating, I would go with them.

The store shows 4000 mAh 6s, but the kit shows 3000-3700 mAh 4s. I wonder if 4000 mAh will even fit for either 4s or 6s, so I am going to try 3000 mAh 6s.

I agree with the 60c also.
