It flew pretty well, was fast but I barely had any aileron control. (they flexed too much because of how long and thin they were)

Probably about 68mph on 3s. (my 3536 was cooked apparently and didn't like 4s)

Nice!Love the Super Scout. No other plane beats the ROI on enjoyment vs time and materials involved. I did upgrade the bomb bayHere it is before I finished trimming it out.

Super Scout XL 3.1 lbs on spec Sunnysky 2814 1100 kv , 3S 3000 mah battery.
12 x 4.5 APC prop delivered 51 amps on the Wattmeter and 60 amps on the Spektrum Avian 60 amp ESC. 551 watts 177 watts per pound ! Too much ?
10.5 x 4.5 APC prop delivered 35 amps on the Wattmeter and 37 amps on the same ESC.
129 watts per pound. I’ll go with this .

Agreed but if I had followed the FT recommendations for a 40 amp ESC I would probably have let the magic smoke out ………..
