yes its good to see you can upgrade your cam , of put a new lenses on a HK 1/3-inch SONY CCD that may be bad .
or add it on something/cam that it will work with

On almost all board cameras you can replace the lenses.

I bought some quality glass lenses from DealExtreme and they make huge difference. Not only changing the FOV but making a better image as well.

I have lenses from 170 degrees to 90ish and I say going to wide is really bad and can make you seasick. (don't overdo it)

DealExtreme are lots cheaper and until we see a side by side comparison with the HK offerings I say they are overpriced.

And DX has free shipping :D

Yeah, I wanted the 2.5 when I placed my last order and they were out of stock....surprise.

But I was able to get a 2.8 one off Amazon for <$7. Very pleased with it.

Just curious, when was the last time you ordered from DX?

I only ask because of what Bruce had to say about them. He has a warning about them he posted on his blog, http://www.rcmodelreviews.com/, and he used to order from them often.
