Ocraslicer released a beta update this week. It calls out it's new 2d lattice infill and says it's directed at lightweight, single-walled prints like RC airplanes. Has anyone else tried it yet? Does this look like a good solution, or would one of the 3d infill shapes still be better? It's certainly lighter, (it saved nearly 10 percent total weight) but I really liked how cubic looked, structurally. Custom internals in CAD could be better, but I'll save that for a bigger project, I think.
OrcaSlicer 2.3.0 release notes. (2D lattice is about 1/3 down the page.)

tried to get the leading edge on the right, and the trailing edge of the wing's main section in line with the infill, not including elevons. I wish I had infill offset settings, like in cura... I may also try perpendicular to leading and trailing edges, rather than parallel. I'll compare it to the cubic version I have, after some testing when weather permits.
