I listened! I absolutely love that some more stuff is happening with the forums! One question, in one of the first videos about edge water y’all mentioned a restaurant and build stations and all kind of cool stuff, has that happened yet or did something else happen to downstairs?

Sadly, the people who need to hear the messages in this podcast, they aren't listening.

I don't mind that free plans have gone away. I understand where they are coming from. I know what it's like to have your IP taken from you. I would just like the opportunity to buy plans. I'm already Aircrew and I still would pay.

I started following flitetest on youtube over a decade ago. I always appreciated their Christianity. It's one of the reasons I give them my business. At this point they're following Matthew 10:16. I miss the days where they were more up front about this on youtube.

I understand the heartbreak. I feel for them, I would give them all hugs if I could.

Congrats to Noah and Haley on their upcoming wedding!

I think it would be best to have a single FTCA Podcast thread, and post all the podcasts in there.
It would make it much easier to get notif's when there is a new podcast, Lee. @FTCA Director

THIS is why I stress the need to get back to the video podcasts. How much more value and emphasis would this have and shown if we got to see AND hear Josh's conviction and emotion he has for what he does and why. I'm angry too my friend.

As for the people scammin up on Josh's / Flite Test efforts point us at the abusers. I have zero qualms going after people like that. With numbers we can write reviews on their websites. We can hammer them on Goggle maps where they cant edit the FT Army. We can collectively hammer them on various social media platforms.

I know its not in Josh's nature to be that way or do things like that but in the world the way it is today if you don't stand tall people will use you for a door mat. When you shine light on darkness it fades pretty quickly.

This also transitions over to the fight with F.A.A. being nice and playing well with others is great until it doesn't work and sadly we ARE at that point. The ONLY way to unite everyone under one banner is to fight for ZERO regulation and if / when that battle is won each faction can manage their followers in the same ways they have done or want to do. But if the ENTIRE collective does not bond some how the Grubment is going to take it all away eventually. That or price 99% of us out of the hobby with fees and taxes like they do with everything else that draws their attention.

This was GREAT information! I believe that if this had been put out a year ago it would have cut down on a lot of the frustration we were feeling, but at least now we have a better understanding, so thank you all for looping us in.
Unfortunately I’m not surprised that that people took advantage of the free plans, just especially disappointed that people within this community were as much responsible as the foreign companies that are already known for infringement of intellectual property.
I am truly impressed that you are still going to find a way to push forward and still provide plans ((free (to spectators as well)?) even if not for all designs.
I am looking forward to seeing the FT Tutor, I have been wanting a foam board version of the Kadet for a while now.

I agree that having a single thread might be easier for me to follow, but having one section of the forum where each episode basically gets its own comments section has its merits too.

The build plans that are given as perks are only for the paid membership. And just an FYI, the Tutor plans won’t be out for a couple more months. The design is still be finalized.

Yes, there is a restaurant, multiple build stations and a whole lot of other cool things going on. You sho make a trip out sometime if you can.

There’s are pros and cons to that. The reason I’m doing it this way is that I want to keep as connected as I can. Honestly, the best way to get notified about podcasts would be through a podcast app. I personally use iTunes for all my podcasts I listen to.

We are working on it Bill. We are tight on bandwidth right now, and until we get some editing help we are limited in what we are able to do. Noah is doing a great job, but he’s only one person.
I promise, it will happen.
