New to flying, not new to RC

Hello, I'm Cam. I've been into radio control for over twenty years, mostly cars and trucks. I worked at a HobbyTown USA store on and off for about a decade starting in 2007. I started flying airplanes this winter with a HobbyZone Champ reissue. Previously, my only flight experience was a Blade mCX when they originally came out about 15 years ago – naturally, I snagged one of those reissues as well. Lately, I've been having fun with my simulator as well as at the NE Ohio Indoor R/C Flying events at Kent State. Last night, one of the raffle winners was generous enough to gift me a Mini Zero kit. I'm looking to pick up a Tutor bundle to get my building and flying skills up before taking the plunge with this Zero, which is one of my all-time favorite aircraft. I just recently discovered that I'm less than an hour away from Edgewater Airpark, so I'm excited to take my family there in the spring and summer. I miss the good old days of R/C forums, so I'm happy to be here.
