new to muti rotor. trying to get parts to a build budget quad/tricopter.

should i just get the naza kit without controller? its around $240. i estimated my build will cost $200. (as you can see i have a hard time making my mind up. too many options.)

I wouldn't pitch out that much for a first time build, but it's your decision.

well the thing is that the motors/esc are $12/piece. so that roughly around $100 and about $24 for shipping. Kits for $30. wires props, misc stuff. i figured it out to be $254 if bought from HK.

Are there cheaper motors and esc that will perform well?

Oh, I meant the control board. It surely is worth what it costs, but IDK, it's your decision.

And I have never heard of a place cheaper than HobbyKing.
