I saw this over on their facebook, what is the HUGE wing he's working on at 2:01? FPV is on my shopping list... one of those RiteWing setups too.. =p

The video and their flying is great but their actions in some cities, like NY, is irresponsible and makes it bad for those responsible FPV pilots. One day their actions will bring down the FAA rules on us and they will probably name it the Black Sheep Law.

Yep. Real possibility. Then they go home and have no regret or consequences, but the rest of use have to live with it. Maybe something to be said for the RC community to stand up against this short of thing.

There is by far more wide open, very beautiful country to fly over in the US, no need to fly in the cities. Think of Maine, Vermont in the fall. Every state has areas where FPV would give great footage. The west has more to offer then one could possible explore in several life times.

We do not need another terroist trying to deliver bombs using FPV or RC.

As someone in the comments said, "That's one small TV show for Trappy, one giant leap for the RC community." And same with the HobbyKing TV ad....The hobby is going on TV now!

+1
Although it is more difficult/exciting to fly in the city. Although, he could fly on small tree-covered (like a tree tunnel) roads....
