And a before and after to show you the evolution that this plane has gone through since it was first built.

A list of modifications (not in chronological order):

  • Tail lengthening
  • New engine pods
  • Engine pods moved further out along wing to clear a larger prop
  • New nose
  • New canopy
  • New cockpit interior
  • 20 Amp ESC's replaced by 40 Amp ESC's
  • Tail Vertical stabilisers shortened
  • Added bomb drop servo and catch
  • Increased skid pan strength
  • New battery mounts
  • Added Luftwaffe camouflage and markings
  • Replaced camera mount with stronger more built in version with a proper mounting mechanism
  • Moved location of receiver to rear of fuselage
  • Vertical stabiliser struts added for strength

Funnily enough, i was going to mention that lengthening the tail was the measure taken to keep the Me210 from spinning out of control, turning it into the Me410. And here it is, your twin warbird in Luftwaffe colors.
I really like seeing the evolution of a plane like this, keep up the good work.

Thats really interesting, I didn't know that. Thanks for telling me about that. Yes it is quite ironic that I decided to go with the Luftwaffe colours. Thanks!

Hopefully I will be able to film some video of it flying third person, not only onboard, to share with you guys soon.

Just to let anyone who may be interested know, I intend to be shortly releasing a redesign of this aircraft. It seemed quite popular two years ago and I think has a lot of potential for a kit. I'll be posting a link to a blog post about it shortly.
