Hi guys this is an update on the build of the new wing for my Tiny trainer.
Just in case u guys didn't see the very hidden build post in my other thread, this wing included a dihedral and different reinforcements compared to my original flatwing. I used BBQ skewers and thicker bamboo dowels at the wing joints, which reduced the overal weight since the carbon rod was kinda heavy. The dihedral might be too much as i forgot to use the dihedral gauge, but it should work. I also forgot to precut the servo holes and wiring areas, which resulted in it being quite ugly and messy. It still is the squarish 1 meter syle on my last wing and looks pretty nice on the fuse, do u guys have any tips or see any problems?

I had the dihedral 3-ch setup with no ailerons for the longest time. (8 years) I finally got around to building the sport wing tword the end and built it flat. It did fine. Unfortunately the rest of the body and control surfaces were super sloppy after being fixed and reglued countless times and I finally retired it up at Flite Fest this year. Need to build another as it was a plane I would throw in the air under just about any condition.

Just put it in the air and enjoy it!

Cheers!

Thanks! heard about your infamously old and tough TT a couple times now...sounds intimidating..

Guys so yeah the wing worked on its maiden but again our friend The English Weather slapped it the moment it took off, then kinda just smushed the front fuse in contact with mother nature's earthly embrace. The good thing here is my crumple zone ***"design"***took all the damage that would have been taken by the electronics. The smooshing should be ok after smearing it with glue!

***Literally a very weak zone i forgot to strenghten during my build***

EDIT: fixed and looking as good as new!

You can see plenty of front crumpling on mine when I slapped a 10mw VTX and camera on the wing with Hot glue. What you don't see is how the right side of the wing was flapping under load as the outer part of the wing had become unglued. You can see how eratically itflew especially near the end from the wiggly wing.
