WHILE I figure out HOW I'm going to get more Brown WP Foam....
I went back to the Vstab!
I now know WHY I've been told to NOT use Black Adam's RediBoard!!!
And the fact that the Tail Feathers are DOUBLED, adds quite a lot of strength - without adding a lot of WEIGHT!
.... Like putting .085" Steel Wire in the Vstab of my Tubby Cubby!! 😲😖

Sorry you are so poor. I kinda understand, cause I’m pretty poor myself, but not to the level you are... but Flitetest is really a lifesaver for all of us isn’t it? The only plane I’ve bought, not built is the hobbyzone champ because none of the ft planes were able to fly in the crazy small spaces I sometimes fly in. Other than that, dtfb and my power packs to the rescue!

@BATTLEAXE Thank you! I really do like doubling the Tail Feathers. For the first time, I didn't have to reinforce the Elevator!! 👋👋👋 That alone is lighter than adding wood or Wire (my only 2 options) .
Using Gorilla Glue instead of Hot Glue, saves more weight than I imagined!! 😲😎 I only used Hot Glue, on the LE of the Hstab.
You just NEED the patience to WAIT hours for a part to set up, instead of minutes!! 😲
AND in Arizona, with 48-53 degree C Summers - Hot Glue isn't always the best solution....
@The Hangar as long as FliteTest doesn't change (Although their SBKs HAVE gone UP quite a bit), the PO Folks will hopefully be okay.
...... If Bix wanted to GIVE me a P-47 SBK, I wouldn't say no! 😂

HOLY CRAP, what an awesome 2 minutes of flight, the maiden was a huge success till I had a LOS over some trees. Got the plane back, found it on the ground. It was fast and sensitive to the controls, the most maneuverable plane I have flown yet. I will post video tonight or tomorrow but this is the end result.
A lot of work went into this one and taught me a lot about how the speed wing flies, definitely making more speed wing planes.
Got all set up with more FB and gonna build a stretched out Scout with a speed wing set low on the fuse to look like a vintage Schneider Trophy float racer but with a Rat Rod vibe. I will post this build on my Scout thread.

Here it is, it flew so fast and true, barely any trim. I was shaking the whole time. I kept throttling back to see if it would drop but it held like it was on tracks, till the LOS. Even the drone cam couldn't keep up.
You can get an idea of how fast it was.
I thought the FT-22 was quick, this P-40 was twice as heavy and made a mockery of the 22. Speed wings all the way, feels like the first time. You can tell by how much space I was taking up.

@BATTLEAXE - you are fast becoming a legend - seems one too many LOS issues lately - great scenery and a winner of a design! 
Great video. Love the perspective and resolution from the drone (DJI Phantom?).
Beautiful plane. Sorry it got crunched but it was gorgeous in the air.

..... I MAY not even use this (MIGHT sculpt an Intake Scoop out of the little bit of Blue Extruded Foam that I've got left).
But I thought I would "play" with an idea I've had rattling around!! 😋
NONE of the parts had any Fold Diagrams.......
So I put my own rudimentary drawings on them, so I wouldn't forget! 😜😆
I know!! This stuff REALLY expands! 😎😲
It really seemed like a pointless, empty thing!!
To me anyway. (I'm probably wrong lol) 😋
Filling it with the Spray Foam made it a SOLID Piece, appears that it will add a fair degree of crash protection....
And the Foam Fill added SO LITTLE weight - I couldn't even get it to register on my Scale!! I'm CERTAIN that it weighs something.
Since it Keys into the front of the Wing....
If I also fill the area from the T.E. of the Wing, to the front of the Spar - it COULD feasibly provide significant "Lawn Dart" Crash protection!!! 😁😎👍👍
IF it doesn't help, it didn't add enough extra weight, to make any difference! 😉

Did some repair/reinforcement/functionality Mods to the double Foam Tail Feathers....
I may end up ripping all of the Black Paper... The adhesion to the Foam is HORRIBLE! 😖

I'm fixing this, even though it's nothing but aesthetic...
.... As I've learned, the Paper - especially the Maker Brown Foam Paper.
This was just TOO ugly!! Plus every time I sanded the Black Paper, it usually shredded and tore.
So HERE'S how I fixed that.
This will also clean up the messy Hinge Line some...
Not using Hot Glue, really helps keep the Weight down - especially in the Rear, where it's critical!!
