Hey Nick, lurker_no_moar is me on Reddit, where do you get your carbon arrow and flat aluminum bar around the South Bay?

Also this will be my first of your builds so I'm bound to have a few clarifying questions.

Hey Matt! Lowes carries the aluminum and I got my arrows from Walmart online. You might find them on the floor but I think it's seasonal for them.

I'm glad you're giving this one a go. Please post any questions you've got in this thread so others can benifit too.

I'm going to try a *slightly* scaled down version, say 98% and then skin it in CF and remove the internal DTFB.

There's a video here of the technique.

Why? Well CF!

Main reason is I'm looking at ways of improving the lifespan on my DTFB planes...
