Wake up! Time to fly!
Good to hear how well you are doing. One of the first things I set up on ANY RC model be it plane boat or quads is a kill switch. I use the idle up switch on mine as a throttle lock for emergency situations. The second I know I'm in the dirt I hit that and that stops motors from spinning due to throttle or now with air mode any tendencies for the motors to try and keep spinning. That will save you from burning a motor out or cooking an ESC trying to spin a motor that is blocked from turning for any reason.

In any case enjoy the time in the air and have as much fun as possible.

Plan to have as much fun as weather permits! re throttle lock the powerup fpv has an accellerometer which acts as crash detection and kills the motors. I would have thought this was something that could be set up with open source FC?
