I finally got around to working on my revision to the Rocktopus. I wanted to modify it to have as little post print processing as possible.
To accomplish this I:
1. Cut the head off
2. Hollowed out the main body and head
3. Placed holes in the bottom for wire routing
4. Added internal clips to hold the head on
5. Redesigned the motor mount to hold a wider variety of motors
I haven't got a chance to print it myself in it's entirety, I also don't have the parts to make it work even if I did although I'm thinking about scaling it down for my Gremlin parts, but the motor measurements are solid and I did test the clips and they held fairly well. The inner cavity is 83mm wide at the thinnest point so there shouldn't be any FC placement issues either.
Anyways, here's the Thingiverse link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2560296
If any of you use it let me know how it works out!
Thanks!
