That's my dependable workhorse. Plenty of power, runs both 2 and 3 cells. I've never burned one out nor do I have any knowledge of anyone burning one up.

Paul-
Don't know if you are looking for a direct replacement or an upgrade or exactly what you are after but I recently used this for an Easy Star project. I don't have a Bix and have not seen one in person but I don't see why this wouldn't work. If you are a beginner it may be a bit much. Crazy vertical performance...

Jetpackninja .... I actually was looking at this but the length was way to long. I have ordered the axn floater motor to see if it will be ok. I have two Boxler's and the new one just looks and sounds like it might crater soon, so a spare is in order.

Hey guys, just wanted to post a few pics of my Bixler camera plane. If you are considering doing aerial videos with this plane, DO IT! Great idea! This bird is getting a gopro soon for some good footage. But my current flip works good. :):):)
Please check out my montage(s) That would be awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTlcjmZwsRI

Hey if you look at your last picture I think you can see that the elevator is slightly not in line woth the ailerons.
You might wanna get it inline for nice photography because any kind of "Oddness" can cause vibration which is not good four your photography.

He probably has powered it up so the servo can center. Kinda like how my Ailerons are up and down on my 1/4 RearWin Speedster right now--just got bumped around

I think ananas is referring to the fact that on the last pic, the horizontal stab is not parallel to the main wing. It looks like it's a little askew.

i very much like the bixler shaped and style of plane is is much like the wild hawk and hawk sky. i own the hawk sky and a buddy of mine owns the wild hawk he has put ailerons on it and it flys much like the hawk sky. i have flown the bixler only once and it was great. i had loads of fun.
