The top number is what your altimeter will read when you hit the top of the tower.
The bottom number is how far you will fall.

Only if the alt is set correctly. Actually, I like the 2324 mountain. Do you land in there often? Looks like permanently bumpy

I first learned to ski when I was 10. Haven skied since I was 14... (I think)

I think the last time I tried, I was like 12..(Not sure) I kinda wanna try printing these out next winter!

Does anybody in this thread do fpv? I recently got my first FPV setup, it is Emax transporter 2 analog goggles, and an AIO camera/transmitter. I recently crashed a plane with the camera onboard into a wall, and my camera stopped working. I bought a runcam 2 mini and some different antennas on amazon, and have been trying to get the two to connect. For some reason it only barely connects when I have my finger on the transmitter, and even then it is very jumpy, and not clear at all.

The AIO setups tend to be questionable at best in my experience. It sounds like you're trying to connect the new Runcam to the AIO? Can you show us how you're doing it? How are your soldering skills?

I would call my soldering skills questionable lol

I just soldered the connections from the runcam to the transmitter, the same way they were with the old camera.

What about the antenna? Is it using the stock connector?

Since it's working (slightly) when you press on the connection, maybe trying to solder it again would be worth a try, making sure ALL of the connections are solid and clean.

The antenna is a new one, it has the same connector as the stock antenna. I have tried it with the original antennas as well with the same results. I will try to resolder it.

New drone room is almost put together!

I'm so neurotic I can't even enjoy it though. It's halfway through March in a one year lease and I'd prefer to own a place before unpacking EVERYTHING... ugh I hate renting so much 😭

Wow, that's a nice plane/drone room! The F-16 wants to fly so badly, that he accidentally got stuck in the table. Jk

And man that thing has been a pain. Originally it would barely take off because it has some in built down thrust (accidental I'm assuming since there's only a few complaints about it) so it took some hard hits on landing, because any throttle bump would cause it to drop like a rock. Kind of fixed that with a 2 degree shim on the exhaust nozzle. Keep breaking the tail above the rudder, plus had to replace the pitot (needs another one now). Oh and the nose kept falling off from weak magnets, I added a couple more.

After adding an Aura 8 it's much better, but of course on the trip down it was one of the only birds to take damage in the Uhaul.

What a drama queen 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

I have checked the connections, and they all appear to be fine. I have found that when I pinch both sides of the transmitter in a specific spot the picture comes through.

Since I have used a little bit of hot glue to hold the transmitter to my planes, I am wondering if I pulled off a resistor on the transmitter board or something. Thanks for all y'alls help!

Yeah, it's sounding like that wall whack knocked something loose. That's beyond my abilities unfortunately 😞 But at least you have a good idea of the problem now!

I have another electronics question for y'all, I found an old Sony mini cassette player/recorder, it seems to turn fine without a tape in it, but when there is a tape it will stop or not turn at all. While it turns it makes a high pitched squealing noise, weather the tape is in it or not. I have taken the back cover off, but decided to get some help before I completely disassemble it. I can get pictures if it helps. Thanks!

Sounds more of a mechanical issue than an electrical issue. Probably a misaligned or broken gear or something

I'm guessing a belt issue too. It's been a long time since I've looked into a cassette player but maybe give cleaning what you can from outside a try, with a q-tip and alcohol?

But I'd say it's a solid chance of an old, cracked, dried-out belt.
