*Nah not Hah🤦♂️😂Hah, this one is just for practice😉
Experimenting with F-22s (I use a different base design) is one of my favorite things to do with RC 😎Yo! How's it doin'?
I've been up to something super weird lately... You know the conspiracies going around that the mighty f22 raptor was reverse-engineered alien tech?
Well... In this enterprise I have managed to reverse engineer some alien tech and make a hybrid alien-fighter of my own redesigning (just a few unearthly tweaks and modifications of the FT 22 to my liking).

Lo and behold... The alien-hybridised-alien-fighter-drone with key changes from ft22 being:
-sharper nose and smoothed down cockpit to be more fitting for alien A.I.
-made the wing more uniform like the yf23 or f35 but higher sweep
-higher sweep intake angles
-heavily modified elevons and fins because... Aliens!

All that's needed is to do a bit of repainting to make it look like the first pic (glowing alien runes, energy conduits running like veins, anti grav generators etc) ... More to come 😁👍
You might try saving your configuration then reflashing the firmwareHello! I recently bought a tinywhoop, and for some reason the adjustments tab on betaflight won't save. Anybody know whats up? Thanks!
I've tried that, When I switch the settings and hit save it looks normal but then when i switch to a different tab and switch back it resets. You might try saving your configuration then reflashing the firmware
I haven't messed with the CLI much, I'm not sure how it works. I also haven't tried different firmware versions. Do you know where I could find those?Have you tried changing settings through the CLI?
How about rolling back or forward to a different firmware?
Thanks for all your help!It would depend on the specific FC you're using. It's likely that the manufacturer will have at least the latest (which it sounds like you've tried), but they may have older versions as well.
If not, you can try finding it in the firmware update page in Betaflight. You'll need to make sure all of the options you use are selected and everything is CORRECT before doing so though!!
Here's a link to Oscar Liang's site which is a great multirotor resource. This is CLI stuff. It looks intimidating but it's not so bad once you use it a little. Make a change, then see if it saved in your adjustments.

Have you tried canards, leading edge flaps?Experimenting with F-22s (I use a different base design) is one of my favorite things to do with RC 😎
Fixed canards yes, leading edge flaps not yet.Have you tried canards, leading edge flaps?
If you install a servo to control each canard and setup a second set of elevons (radio) hooked to run the canards, you now have 2 sets of ailerons and 2 sets of elevators to do your roll and pitch. On another plane, not only had that setup, but added 2 motors/props on back elevators (now you have differential thrust). The plane acted like it was on crack!!!! Destroyed itself due to very high stress.Fixed canards yes, leading edge flaps not yet.
Canards give you an almost instant turn but dumps all of your energy. Fun in combat if you have a torquey motor with a lot of thrust 😁
The simplest and most effective mod (for the design I use) is counterbalancing the elevons. Less stress on the servo and WAY more control.
I'll eventually get to working canards.
ETA: RCSuperPowers did a ton of testing many years ago with lots of different foamy jet designs. His videos are still worth watching.

I love it! That is the joy of building with foam board - let's try something wild. It only takes a day or so (ok, maybe longer) to build rather than months and no tears when it destroys itself. The plane acted like it was on crack!!!! Destroyed itself due to very high stress.
If you cross a pair of pushrods to the canards from the elevon servos you can have elevon roll and pitch without the extra weight of two more servos, too 😉If you install a servo to control each canard and setup a second set of elevons (radio) hooked to run the canards, you now have 2 sets of ailerons and 2 sets of elevators to do your roll and pitch.
