Old charger with new battery?

I'm planning on making my first scratch build and was wondering if I can use a charger that came with the Hobbyzone Super Cub S With SAFE made for this battery , with a battery from the ft store. Would the charger still work if I use a new battery? I can't remember what charger it is (specs and stuff) but if I go looking I can find it if you want (I had to quickly write this post before I left to go somewhere)

The discharge leads are different on the 2 batteries. Many chargers have leads that connect to the charger with banana connectors. If yours is such, you can buy just the leads and it will work fine.

The charger uses the white Charing (I think) connector (4 pin connector thing) of the battery for charging, so will it still work with the new battery as long as I charge it with the white connector?

You should be able to, but I'd buy a new charger.

The ones with those Hobbyzone kits are really the cheapest possible chargers, and you have no way of telling what it's actually doing to your battery.

I look for a display that will show you the charge status of each cell. Support for both the balance plugs and for the discharge plug. Also a way to power it from house power. That said, you want to make sure to charge your batteries in some sort of fireproof system.

Can any of them work with TX-30 connectors? I can't really find where it says it
EDIT: or should I just buy a EC3 to TX-30 adapter?
