Got it in the mail today and couldn't resist.
Cut the slits for the flaps.
Put on some decals.
Retracts are on the way.

The folks at parkzone look like they've done their homework.
Flaps and retracts seem a no brainer for this airframe.
Looks great, can't wait to get the retracts in and maiden this puppy :)
grrr having trouble getting the pics uploaded, nice looking plane

Yeah- I love it. There are some shortcomings that need addressed but an awesome plane!
I crashed mine on maiden. I suspect that it was a combination or orientation difficulties and CG.
Flies great now with no retracts and 2 oz of lead in the nose. Suspect that I can use much bigger batteries that the 2200's.
3000mah or bigger may be the way to go with this bird ;)
Waiting on my replacement retracts now...

Yeah- I trashed the retracts the first flight. Can't blame the retracts, they were a victim, not the cause of the crash.
90 bucks down the drain...
Bought a generic set for the replacements. twenty six bucks. Ouch but yeah.

What did you do???

Yeah- I stuffed it in on the maiden.
So, it's hard to figure out what exactly happened.
I didn't do a really good CG check, looked OK but didn't measure it.
Took off and flying fine- realized I had not tried the retracts.
At this point the plane was kinda far away and seemed squirrely when the retracts went up.
If I had been closer, I could have most likely got it back but I lost orientation and stuffed it in.
The wing was damaged but repairable except I had not (thought I did) recovered all of the pieces.
Got a new wing but the retracts are stripped so ordered new ones.
Have remaidened w/o the the retracts and it flies fine but had to add weight...

Will proceed more carefully once the new retracts arrive ;)

I find parkzone has a good warrenty. I got a plane it had 1 bad part they sent it out and I got it quickly. Not bad for the company now the irony was I stuffed the first launch broke it bad. (need to tape the tail) Boiled the epo in water to straighten it out hot glue and back out... Launch 2 worked great stuffed it since I didn't know how to fly. (RC desk pilot) Hot water more hot glue. 3 flight aha works great flys good land safely Hand over to person who has flown more. They flew great did a loop (unintended) they were used to alerions and it was a 3 channel nose dive and stuffed it. Bought a new body at that point glued it back together put all the parts on the new plane fired it up esc went up in smoke (must of been damaged in crash worked on bench fine) So burnt my new plane o well it flys great after the esc.
