So the order got delayed a few days but now parts are on the way. Maybe a maiden flight the weekend after next. I went with a F power pack (more or less).

I’ve decided to redo this since this is pretty much my first Scratch build without instructions and there’s a lot of mistakes I’ve made. Hopefully I’ll be satisfied with the new version

In the new one, I’ve also extended the bottom panels of the hull by about 1 cm each

I got almost everything I need except the battery pack (whoops), and the y adapter that I *think* goes from there receiver channel one to the ESCs AND the battery I ordered from Amazon has the wrong connector on it. Mixed success.

Slow and steady. I still haven't been able to bind the receiver to my very simple transmitter. I've ordered a Dx6e in hopes that it will fix the problem. Getting close to flight ready. I have the secure the battery before the glide test.

I finally got my twin motor set up working (set 2 channels to throttle). Still figuring out the new transmitter, and I really need to do wiring clean up.

I did clean up on the wiring, and did a limited maiden flight. Needless to say I crashed the plane (its fine), and it flies better than I do. Its GREAT. Needs some cosmetic work, to repair the L motor mount, deal with wing tip crumple, and some tail modification still.

Glad to hear you got it in the air and she flies well! Nothing feels better than flying something you built!

Progress! I figured out how to update and then program the receiver (for flight assist/stabilization). Working on canopies tonight. Next up a hatch for the receiver
