Recently, my flight simulator crashed on my laptop. After an unsuccessful purchase on Aliexpress, I was advised by this seller : https://aliexpress.ru/item/32993130...&traffic_source=recommendation&type_rcmd=core
2. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GKB32CVADObcFfNz2nSJet1T6S7BYLnN/view - Download and install : since I don't know Chinese, I pressed the far right button and installed it.
3. C:\Program Files\PhoenixRC\resources\language - Follow the link to the folder and DELETE all the languages, leaving only your own.
4.Connect the purchased whistle with the cable from the kit to the computer and fly, train. and open the program - it will load in your language.Enjoy using it. I didn't steal anything from anyone - everything is freely available on the Internet.

It is easy to connect a laptop or computer to a TV. I have a 45" LG in my kitchen and I like to fly during the days when the weather is bad and non-flying.

I have downloaded Phoenix and installed it, but it doesn't recognize my (yes I know its older) Taranis QX7 when plugged into the USB port. Windows 11 sees the transmitter as a joystick and so does RealFlight. Any suggestions?

My friend has a Taranis QX7. He 's got everything connected . Are you using the Chinese whistle on my link? Go to the transmitter menu: Model setup-Protocol-Proto PPM (it should be like this). I have 4 Chinese whistles and the program works only with the whistle on the link.

Each Chinese whistle has its own hacking program for a specific simulator program. I used to have a whistle and a disc with 4 simulators... The whistle only worked with programs from the disk. The disk has been missing for a long time and the whistle is garbage.

It's been a while since I played with Phoenix. If your Taranis isn't working correctly, you may need to go chasing the correct Windows driver. I know a number of years ago Windows updated their default drivers and the Taranis wasn't identified correctly anymore. I believe the solution was to uninstall the default driver and then reinstall a new one. Googling something like "Windows, Taranis driver issue" should get you a how to.
Also, I would highly caution against loading any software that comes with the Chinese dongles. There are numerous reports of it being rife with malware and in my experience, it works just fine without loading anything. The dongle I have came with a CD of various "software" but it worked perfectly without ever loading the CD or downloading anything.

The computer protection program treats any hacking program as a virus. There are 5 protection programs installed on my laptop, and in this case there are no viruses. No simulator works without its own code key or whistle. The old driver differs from the new one in the acceleration of information processing, but the algorithm remains the same.

If Windows can see the transmitter as a joystick, you can try using the emulator HERE. There is a video on getting installed and running HERE.

I'm not saying you don't need the dongle (or whistle as I believe you're calling it.) Just that mine didn't require the downloading of anything from the included disk to work correctly. And that sometimes, some of those included disks have had less than savory software on them.

I'm not surprised. If you downloaded the simulator from the official website and it worked for you, this case would be worthy of being listed in the Guinness Book of Records.)))
