Here's a little tidbit for y'all to laugh at.
Yes, I did build a foamboard chuckie. Full disclosure: my son likes it *almost* as much as his balsa ones. I don't care for it because it took just as long as the balsa one and literally takes a 60%+ performance cut for no gain in anything, and it still needs a balsa fuselage and catapult fittings. But if that's what floats your boat, have at it. I've gotten one flight over 10 seconds because it found a thermal (15 seconds). The balsa version was outflying my field within 10 minutes of its maiden flight and will probably disappear in a thermal at FFS.

Hey, I'd love to build one of these if the plans are available?? It's looks beautiful!
You'll have to do some slight mods to make it a chuck glider, but should work fine when you balance it on the CG.
