Polyhedral on FT Flyer?

I have managed to make Lightburn files for all of the FT Flyer parts. I have to do it in black foam board for my diode laser (xTool S1 40W). And, due to size constraints, I have to make a multipart wing like v1 where there is a center section and 2 wingtips. Which leads me to my question:

Would there be any advantage to doing a polyhedral? Since the tips have to be glued and taped on anyway...

Just wondering if anyone tried it. Or if anyone with more experience has thoughts.
