I am in the process of building a 450 quad and got the bright idea to hot glue my motor wires where they came out of the stater just to secure them to the motor case.
now they spin freely, no issue there, my only concern now is either the wire coating is now damaged, or once I get it flying and the motors get up to temp, the glue will melt out.
Now if it melts out and away, I really dont care, I was just hoping I didnt damage them.
they are mt2213-935kv the black and red ones, if that makes a difference.

I havent been able to try them yet due to the fact I am still waiting for KK2.1 and receiver.
I am hoping everything will be fine, and like I said, they do spin freely.

They should be just fine, I did the same on 2 of my rewound bell motors and they work great.

If you used common high temp hot glue you would have way bigger problems if your motor could melt it. You should be fine, but if you're worried then run it kinda hard and give a few pushes if it's kinda mushy place the motor in the freezer for about an hour and gently pull the glue right off. Just be careful of condensation before using right away.
