Power pod position

Doing more work on my AT6 Texan from Alps plans, but find that the center of the motor shaft is about a 1/4 inch higher than the center line of the 5" diameter cowling. I would assume that the prop should be centered in the cowling to avoid thrust issues. Should I redesign the power pod to correct for this?

Moving the line of thrust up or down by that amount likely won’t change much. If it was angled then it might make more difference.
It depends on how much you are bothered by the visual aspect of it too. I would simply mount the motor a little lower on the firewall until it sits right.
