Problem setting up LazerToys ESC

I'm having a bit of a problem with a Lazertoys 30A ESC. My friend actually bought it with "THE BEEF" package, but could never get it to work. I traded him one of my hobbyking ESCs to use, and he was happy with that.

However, I'd like to use this ESC that I now have, but it's really confusing me.

It's like the ESC is never quite initalized.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Like I said in my video, the battery, receiver, and transmitter and motor all work with other ESCs. And that LazerToys ESC does NOT work with any other combination of parts. So the problem is definitely in that ESC.

I don't want to bug people, but I'm really baffled by this issue.

Okay. Thanks for the tip. I'll see about replacing it.

If they won't replace it, would reflashing it fix the problem? I've always wanted to try that...

At that point anything goes! Ive not had to try re-flashing but give it a try. Try for replacement first though.
