Problem with Jumper T Pro transmitter

Hello, good day.

I'm new to the Forum.

I have a Jumper T pro V2 transmitter with the internal ELRS module, which originally had OpenTX.
The problem is that after updating to EdgeTX, it no longer recognized the internal ELRS module. Only Crossfire and multi-protocol options appear in the menus. Before the update, a backup of the firmware and memory was created. Using OpenTX Companion, the original firmware was written, and the problem persists.

Using "Buddy," different versions of the firmware were written. EdgeTX Companion was also used, and it still doesn't show any ELRS options.

The transmitter has been opened and the cables are properly connected. I tried disconnecting the ELRS module, turning the device on and off, and connecting the ELRS module, but there was no improvement.

Can someone help me solve this, please? Or does anyone have a copy of the EEPROM for a similar transmitter?

If you need to flash the EEPROM, I have the necessary tools to do the job.

Thank you very much for your help.

There is a configuraton option in the system settings "HARDWARE" tab which must be set Identifying what type of module is internal. My pocket radio is ELRS for example. This is how it should be set. CRSF is correct because Crossfire is the protocol that ELRS uses.

Hi LitterBug, thanks for your help.

I have a couple of questions. My transmitter is 915 MHz.
Do I need to adjust this?

In the case of the baud rate, I see that your transmitter is 1.87 MHz. ELRS uses 420,000 bauds. Is this related? Do I need to change anything?

Thanks for your help.

900 mhz is the over the air frequency. You just need to make sure your receivers are the same frequency. Leave the default baud rate of 1.87 Mhz for the protocol unless you run into issues.

Ok, I understand.

I've already connected the drone. Apparently, there's communication with the receiver, but Mission Planner doesn't reflect the joystick movements. I suppose it needs to be adjusted to work with CrossFire?
Another question I have is what the process will be like to link with future receivers. Would I have to use the same key that was originally used for the link?

Thanks for your support.

You should use the same binding phrase for all your models.

You can use unique receiver/model IDs if you want to have different radio profiles for different drones and/or make sure you don't accidentally use the wrong radio profile with the wrong drone.

Hello, I hope this doesn't cause me any more problems and I can get it working.

I appreciate your help and attention.

I have used ELRS with ArduPilot. Plane and Copter. Also used it with INAV. The "options" can make it confusing at first, but its a really good protocol going forward.

Hello

I contacted JUmper RC technical support, and they were kind enough to provide me with the original firmware and the SD card contents.

After writing the data, the Crossfire option was lost, and only the Multi option appeared. When I tried to access the ELRS configuration screen, it remained on the loading screen and wouldn't advance, so apparently it got worse.

Fortunately, I found a video that explains how to fix this.

Just to check, the firmware was updated to the latest version, and the problem reappeared. So I had to write the original firmware version and enable the Crossfire function to get it working again.

After all this, in my very limited opinion, I do not recommend updating the EdgeTX on this particular transmitter. Also, the sticks are now working in Mission Planner.

Thank you so much for your help.

Have a great day.
