Prop exploding in flight, good practice for emergency landing

So, yesterday I was flying my R7 (scratch built delta with pusher prop and camera in the front)
I wanted to show it to my aunt since she wanted me to film her house from above so I flew the plane twice a bit earlier and it went well, about 40 seconds in the third flight the propeller exploded for no apparent reason, the now heavily unbalanced motor ripped off the motor mount and unplugged two of the three wires. I managed to get it back down but it was very close.

Im gonna post pictures of the prop and motor later when I will repair it.

You can see the stress marks on the prop, I flew the plane again with the same model of prop so I guess it was just a faulty one
