Protecting my fpvmanuals tri delrin kit

Hi,

I'm a newbie who needs tricopter training wheels, I've used "pool noodles" and carved out spaces for my motor and motor mounts (see attached). I'm wondering if I should give more clearance to avoid motor heat (don't want molten noodle on my motor). Is my design a good idea?

Your idea is excellent. As long as the noodles don't drag on the motor hubs you should be fine. The motors shouldn't heat up that much anyway.
