Kind of curious if you purchased, received a quad and do not know what protocol it uses how too find out? I have a couple from a gentleman that passed away and have no clue what protocol he used.

I would try to find the RX, see if there is a manufacturer/model on it. You could look in the firmware to see if it had a protocol selected. Have you identified the firmware they are running on? Pictures could be helpful for us to assist.

Post some pictures of what you have. We might be able to determine what you need from the pictures. I do this all the time where I work at as an R/C Tech.
