This script mimics the start sequence for quad racing. Pilots get their quads ready on the start line. They then return to their seats and get ready to race. The race official tells them to arm their quads and then after a random delay sounds a start buzzer.

To use the script:

 • The pilot activates a momentary switch.
 • An announcement to get ready to race is made.
 • After a random delay of up to 5 seconds a start buzzer sounds.
 • This switch used and delay can be configured.

I can get the startup voice to work of Joe Scully but the tone doesn't work.

I tested it on a Q X7 with 2.2.0 and it works...

Did you edit the lua file?

Can you try and get it working on Companion first?

Are you able to use the SD Card browser and to play the file?

For the second file to play the buzzer the active switch needs to go inactive which is why the default switch is a momentary switch.

The scripts has been updated.
It used to require the use of a momentary switch that gets activated and then deactivated immediately for the start sequence to initiate or a switch.
Now the start sequence switch can stay active.
