If it is a stock board and you have not reprogrammed it then I believe that it is sent from the factory in + plus configuration in which case the front motor is #1, Left motor is #2, Right motor is #3 and back motor is #4.
If you have reflashed it then it depends on what firmware version you installed as to what the motor numbering scheme is.
