Question About CG on Different Fuselage

If I were to use the wing from a FT scout or other plane on a fuselage of similar size and weight, would the CG I should aim for be in the same place or will the differences in fuselage and tail feathers need a new CG?

If the plane is approx the same size then the CG point will be the exact same. The only real difference is when using the wing on a canard as the lift is distributed across the foreplane and the main wing.

Assuming on a standard "tractor" design that the tail has no loading then the wing balance point.CG will be the same.

Just one thing though!

If your new plane weighs much more then you may need to either consider increasing the wing span or the wing incidence angle.
