This is a quick guide on how to make your own high/low throw gauges for rudder, elevator, and ailerons. I created this because I looked around and could find little about throws. So I hope this helps you. Just download the PDF. Then follow the instructions. It is as simple as that.

Super Job Croy2007. Everyone needs a set of tools like this in their tool box. A quick question, never having been good in math how did you determine the angle when given a fraction in inches. Example 3/8 and 1/2 inches. Thanx.

That would matter on the length of the control surface. I used this site to help figure that out.

Enter length of control surface as b.
Enter .375, which is the same as 3/8, into a.
Click calculate and the angle you are looking for will be where it says Angle A or B.
