Hi. Sort of a noobish question.
I've been flying for a few months now. TX: DXe. RX: AR400.
Is it critical that the bind plug is pulled right after binding? I never figured it was a big deal. But I've had several crashes where there was an apparent loss of control (starting a bank turn, then it never recovers). I thought I might have a bad rx. Today while flying my Scout I had a blackout, causing it to plunge. Control came back just before crashing, and I was able to mostly pull out before a hard landing.
My power pod ripped, so I had to do a quick repair. When I rebound, I pulled the bind plug, and never had a problem through 2 whole batteries.
Is there some known science to this, where I was just slow on the uptake?
Thanks!
