Radian XL 2.6 Motor removal

Hi Everyone
I have a Radial XL 2.6m and I think the motor is bad. I have removed the prop but the prop spacer - see image- needs removed inorder to extricate the screws holfing the motor to the firewall. The manual says to remove with tool. I dont recall any too provided and the space is on pretty tight. ANy thoughts how to remove the spacer?

It's metal, right? Throw a pliers on it but look for a set screw first (I don't think it will have one)
