Radiomaster Pocket ELRS binding issues to R88 Receiver

I run an afterschool RC club and have made the mistake in buying 3 Radiomaster Pocket CC2500 and one Pocket ELRS. I have the Power pack A, from flight test, with numerous R88 receivers. I cannot seem to bind the singe ELRS pocket to the R88 Receiver as I did with the three CC2500. I am using FRSKY D8 protocol, updated the firmware, tried both the internal and external RF, and changed the SD card. Is there something I am missing? Why cannot the ELRS version bind?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am having trouble finding any support on this specific issue.

The R88 is NOT an ELRS receiver. You would need an external MultiProtocol module on the Pocket ELRS transmitter, or an ELRS receiver.

Something like this that I have on my Pocket ELRS transmitter.

I knew there was something obvious. I tried to get the Radiomaster Pocket CC2500 from flite test and they only have the elrs version. Whoops. What is the cheapest ELRS receiver that would work with this pocket version? Thank you!

I just got the same thing you have, the RM4in1 module from radio master. Thank you for all the insight. Bumbed I have to buy something else, but the kids will still get to do other cool stuff with the ELRS on this pocket.
