The first kit I designed on my laser cutter was based upon the GWS Slowstick dimensions and I went with three, 1/4" dowels in a tripod configuration for the fuselage. It is stylized after the Curtiss Jenny and has been an excellent flyer. It's shown in tinted blue Ultracoat covering. It has been a very popular kit from the beginning and I have expanded upon the platform over the years to include additional variations, the Slow Stick Cub in yellow, Slow Stick Fokker DR7 in red, the Mini Jenny Stick in clear (shown in the first attachments) and the latest, the Slow Stick Fokker DR7 biplane which was a special request, developed, kitted out, sent to the customer and pending their build or if anybody else wants to build one to get me some photo's but I may bust it out myself anyway.
I took things further with the latest generations so the builder is able keep only one fuselage, geared up, and simply secure the wing and tail feathers onto it that can be removed and switched around between the other styles.
The Slow Stick Fokker (not biplane version) was originally designed for aft mounted ailerons but the customer opted to just add some tabs and keep it tail feather control, I include the options for both for the builder, the Slow Stick Cub has ailerons by default built in along with the Slow Stick Fokker DR7 Biplane.
These exceed the GWS Slowstick in the air on flight permance, slow and lasy to pushing things harder and they are lighter then the original. Also, no 3d printed/plastic/etc. parts required, nor needed at all, the tripod system is easy to work with when adding the gear and the rest too.
