That looks good.
However as you have found a parallel tube is not too hard but the tail, and nose in particular, are harder to get a scale type "look".
Bending any sheet, even foam, into any sort of double curvature is almost impossible and the result tends to look rather crude.
One solution is to copy how boat builders get a super smooth "boat shape " hull by using long thin narrow planks. They call it "carvel" building. The problem is each plank has to be cut to the right shape to match the change in the diameter of the object.
Foam is easy enough to cut and sand so getting the right shape become a matter of practise.
The big advantage of using many narrow foam planks is the force required to hold each in place is very small so fixing it on is unlikely to distort the structure as you proceed. An even greater advantage is the result is largely a hollow structure and thus very light for its stiffness.
I have been building in sheet foam for any years and when I saw a Bombardier Q400 fly over head with its even longer fuselage and relatively spindly wing I just has to build one.

All done using paperless 3mm foam sheet (Depron). The like yours the fuselage was built in 3 sections and yes it was done using long thin planks as a "half shell" built over the plan. The complete fuselage is 78" (2m) long.

The nacelles are so big I also placed the ESC and a battery in each. The receiver is also in the wing which means the fuselage is virtually empty. Even the rudder and elevator servo wires run in the "spine" that Bombardier conveniently placed on top of the fuselage that runs from the fin to the wings!
No undercarriage to save weight so its a hand launch and belly land on grass. I judged the high wing would just keep the prop tips clear of the ground. No covering just light weight filler, sanding and acrylic water based paint.
It flies well too. A still from a video.

I am not saying I could have done this as my first foam build but it does show what can be done with a bit of practise and perseverance.

Well done so far just keep going. I hope yours flies well too!
